This is an original Soviet safety poster from 1987, published by Energoatomizdat in Moscow and printed in Tula. The bold and surreal artwork shows a helmet and wrench with a dramatic green beam of light, symbolizing the dangers of improper maintenance. The Russian text translates to “Observe safety measures when repairing the air receiver,” with detailed safety instructions printed at the bottom.

The poster measures approximately 22 by 17 inches (56 by 43 cm). It was printed on August 27, 1987, and designed for use in industrial and technical workplaces to remind workers of proper procedures and accident prevention. It has some wear, edge creases, and pinholes from hanging, but the colors remain vibrant and the overall piece displays well.

This is a striking example of late Soviet-era industrial safety design, mixing bold graphics with propaganda-style visual language. It would make a strong addition to any collection of Soviet posters, industrial history, or Cold War–era graphic art.
